If you were drawn to this post today, the Eagle may be working with you as a Native American Totem. The spirit of brother Eagle will be working with your Inner Spirit. Your interest in this post could be reminding you to be confident in your heart and to collect our courage because the universe is offering you an opportunity to soar above the boring levels of your life. Your opportunity may come by way of a spiritual test. You may begin to recognize the areas in your soul, your personality, your emotions, or your psyche that need a little upgrade or perhaps some refining. Eagle gives the lesson of going beyond what is currently visible to us in order to broaden our sense of self.

When you learn to fight off your personal fears of the unknown, Great Spirit helps you to glide on His breezes with the wings of your soul.

We know that we must feed our bodies. A lesson from Eagle is to also feed our souls. So, reconnect with the element of air which is the mental plane or the higher mind. There is wisdom there for you to grasp.

Perhaps if you reflect on your current situation, you realize that you have been walking in the shadows of former realities, Brother Eagle will bring you illumination. You are being asked to look higher and to touch Grandfather Sun with your heart. It is important to love the shadow as much as the light because there is beauty in both.

Basically, the totem or lesson from Brother Eagle is to allow ourselves the freedom of soaring and to follow the joy that our heart and soul desires.
